Get Ready for the 2025 MAAVS Convention Show in York, PA, on November 6 to 8th, 2025

Convention and Show how information will be published in the June 2025 MAAVS MEMO coming at the end of May 2025. It will also appear here as it gets updated.

Our Show Schedule has been sent to AVSA for approval and should be back by the end of this month.  St John Episcopal Church will again host us, with hotel accommodations and all dinner meals at the nearby Four Points by Sheraton in York.

Our theme is "Violets at Game Night"

We are planning an AVSA Judging School if we get enough interest.  Please let Jackie Leitzel know that you are interested, so she can make plans.

The Mid-Atlantic African Violet Society
is an association of persons with an interest in African violets (AV) and is affiliated with the African Violet Society of America (AVSA). We were originally formed as a regional African Violet Society for the Middle Atlantic United States (US) including Canada. African Violet and Gesneriad World Today Almanac
After two years of effort, Vladimir Kalgin's African Violet and Gesneriad World Today Almanac has finally arrived. It is in Russian and English. It is a 516 page compendium of the African Violet World in 2022! Everywhere on Earth!!

Included are articles about Russian and Ukrainian hybridizers and activities, as well as what’s going on in Australia, Japan, England, Sweden, Germany, Estonia, South Africa; and North America with US and Canadian African Violet Societies, Judging Councils, and Clubs. The History of MAAVS is also included on page 193.  View it here on our web site at African Violet and Gesneriad World Today Almanac  It is a large file worth waiting for.
